About Us

Pacific Technical Resources, Inc. (PTR) was established to fill a void in the industrial energy maintenance market. PTR recognized that in order for power producers and industrial plants to operate their facilities as efficiently and cost effectively as possible, they would need high quality technical services at a reasonable cost. Utilizing this logic PTR targeted two critical disciplines, Instrumentation and Electrical, specializing in Startup, Maintenance and Plant Modification Projects.

 

Founded in California in 2001, PTR focused its efforts on our initial client base which included Reliant Energy, NRG and AES.

 

In 2002, wanting to expand and diversify our client and project base a Nevada effort was launched to service the Nevada area. Since establishing a market presence, PTR has provided services to Nevada Power, El Dorado Energy, and the RIO Hotel and Casino. During that same year, PTR expanded its service territory to include Arizona.

 

Today we are proudly serving California, Nevada and Arizona and a partial list of our clients include: Reliant Energy, Southern California Edison, Shell Oil Company, SDG&E, NRG, AES, City of Burbank, PacifiCorp, Constellation Energy, RIO Hotel and Casino, Nevada Power, Salt River Project, Calpine and many others.
